What We Believe

At the heart of our ministry is a simple truth: Jesus Christ is Lord. We joyfully affirm these beliefs, rooted in Scripture and lived out in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible

We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired, infallible Word of God, given for teaching, correction, and guidance. The Bible is our final authority in faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

The One True God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things. Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.” Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and ascended to heaven. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 “Christ died for our sins… that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day.”

Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. All who repent and believe are forgiven, born again, and adopted into God’s family. Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… it is the gift of God.” Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart… you will be saved.”

The Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers, empowering us for holy living, bold witness, and spiritual gifts. Speaking in tongues is one of the evidences of this baptism. Acts 1:8 “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses.” Acts 2:4 “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission. Every believer is a vital part of the Church’s ministry. 1 Corinthians 12:27 “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not give up meeting together… but encouraging one another.”

Ordinances

We believe in the ordinances of water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, practiced in obedience to Christ’s command. Matthew 28:19 “Go and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Luke 22:19 “Do this in remembrance of me.”

Healing

We believe divine healing is provided through Christ’s atonement and is available to all who call upon Him in faith. 1 Peter 2:24 “By his wounds you have been healed.” James 5:14–15 “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders… And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well.”

Blessed Hope

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal life with Him for all who believe. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven… and the dead in Christ will rise first.” Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.”
